Makeup Artist Attracta Courtney created a sleek, directional look using Guerlain makeup which focused on an elongated dark smoky eye, enhanced with lashes of mascara, and combined with a flawless base and ‘romance kissed lips’.

The eye makeup may be a little too strong for a bride on her wedding day, however the ’romance kissed lips’ is definitely a look that a bride can use for her wedding day.

The Guerlain product used in this show is the Guerlain  Rouge G JEWEL LIPSTICK COMPACT in shade Gardenia (shade 02), which is a Coral Beige shade as seen on the model above.

The compact:

Guerlain  Rouge G JEWEL LIPSTICK COMPACTis a fabulously chic compact in white gold metal. Thanks to a clever magnetic mechanism, Rouge G de Guerlain reproduces the air-releasing effect of antique powder cases. At the first click, the case reveals a mirror and then a lipstick nestled within. Upon closing, the magnets resonate with a heavy click.

This compact looks and feels luxurious and incredibly elegant – the weight of the compact makes it feel so expensive, it really is very special and unique.

The formula:

Ruby mono-crystal: When ground, this interacts with ultraviolet rays of daylight to reveal spectacular radiance. The ruby powder is all enriched with glass microbeads that diffract light.

Instantaneous and intense lip definition: Made possible  by a concentration of pigments combined with Mother-of-pearl that form an opaque film perfectly reflecting the light on the surface of the lips.

A perfectly smooth surface: Immediately smoothed, roughness and uneven areas seem to disappear. The formula contains hyaluronic acid microspheres that fill up with water and swell up to six timed their initial volume. Gugul resin acts like a natural wrinkle-filler.

Lips plumped up with targeted active ingredients: Lips are plumped up thanks to a formula with Vitamin A palmitate, which stimulates epidermal cell growth and with Tiger Grass, from Madagascar and India. The latter boosts the synthesis of collagen fibres, which are skin-plumping proteins.

Long-lasting hydration: Enriched with wild mango butter, this formula maintains optimum hydration levels. It delivers intense colour, with the comforting pleasure of a balm.

There are 25 shades for you to choose from and I adore the above shade on the London Fashion Week Catwalk (Gardenia, 02), as it is definitely a wearable shade for a bride. Not only is the formula beautiful (it feels so luxurious on the lips and the colour is gorgeous), but the compact is really special – definitely a treat for a bride to use on her wedding day.

RRP £27.
