Karin Herzog Eye Cream – a serious skincare product with dramatic results!

Kylie Minogue, Sharon Stone, Pixie Lott, Victoria Beckham are all fans of Karin Herzog products, which have also become a Beauty Editors favourite.

With serious indredients which deliver amazing results, I am a huge fan too and one particular product that I use myself is the Karin Herzog Eye Cream (RRP £39).

Linda Evangelista swears by Karin Herzog Eye Cream, as this unique product delivers just the right amount of oxygen, water, glucose, vitamins and minerals to brighten, tone, firm, hydrate and lift the entire eye area.

It is so important that if you are not already using an eye cream that you start using one. The skin around your eye is so much finer that the skin on your face, so you need to treat it with care and with the appropriate product. I also recommend using an eye cream on your wedding day before makeup, as the eye area is one of the first areas to show dehydration and you want the skin around the eyes to look plump and young, not dehydrated which can make the skin look older.

When selecting the perfect eye cream, it is important to remember that you do not want a product which is too greasy, as your makeup will then ’slide off’ throughout your wedding day. This is why I love the Karin Herzog Eye Cream. 

Hyper-enriched with gentle and nourishing vitamins and with a 0.5% oxygen concentration, this cream has been designed for application to the eye contour area where the skin is extremely delicate and subject to premature ageing.

A growing trend for brides – eyelash extensions

Eyelash extensions were relatively unheard of a few years ago, but are now becoming more popular and I am seeing an increase in the number of brides (and other members of the bridal party) opting for eyelash extensions.

There are still many people who haven’t heard of eyelash extensions, so I thought I give a basic desription of them, as they can be a great option for glamorous eyelashes on your wedding day and your honeymoon.

When you have eyelash extensions, you have individual lashes applied to your own lashes. There are different lengths/ thicknesses and colours available – your therapist would discuss this with you in your initial consultation.

These lashes lasts approximately 2 – 3 months (everyone is different) which is wonderful for your wedding day and honeymoon – waking up with glamorous lashes everyday is fabulous! They do look really beautiful if applied professionally by a qualified therapist. No mascara – you cannot use waterproof mascara or an oily eye makeup remover and you need to be gentle with your eyes, so there is some care needed.

How do I find out where to get eyelash extensions?

There are different makes of eyelash extensions and different salons will select different brands which each offer training.

Many local salons will offer this service now as it is so popular – try searching online to see what is available.

Many eyelash extension brands will have a ’salon finder’ on their website, which will list the salons in your area who have trained with them. It is essential that you check that the therapist you choose is fully trained and insured.
