This product received so much amazing press when it was launched – Lancôme spent years on the research and formulation, which resulted in a wonder serum which had the press and beauty industry very excited!

Lancôme made a major skincare discovery: That skin’s youth is characterised by the presence of certain proteins on the skin surface which are the result of gene expression.

How does this product work: GÉNIFIQUE helps promote an environment more characteristic of youthful skin, to leave the skin looking younger. The proteins that are specific to young skin increase.

Who is it suitable for: This product is great for someone who feels that their skin needs a boost – you don’t have to already be using Lancôme skincare, this is a product that you can slot into your existing skincare regime. It’s really easy to use – you simply apply it all over your face morning and evening before your regular moisturiser. It’s not a thick heavy serum, it is really pleasant to use and sinks into your skin quickly and easily.

You need to use the product regularly for at least 8 weeks, which I have done and the results I observed were that my skin appeared more illuminated, refined and re-plumped – it’s definitely a product I will continue to use and I think it would be the perfect product for a bride-to-be or mother-of-the-bride who is concerned with ageing and would like their skin to look younger and fresher for their wedding day.
